he number of different channels through which we can communicate with
one another is absurd when you take some time to think about it. Tons of
different companies have their own solutions for helping us get in
touch with friends and family members in the most efficient and
functional way possible, and Supersonic Fun Voice Messenger is the
latest communication tool that just might be worth checking out.
Supersonic Fun Voice Messenger was created by the same Google-backed team that launched Uptime for iOS this past Monday, but rather than being stuck within Apple's ecosystem, Supersonic Fun Voice Messenger is available for both Android and iOS.
You might be rolling your eyes at first due to the fact that Google is behind another messaging
app, but this one is a bit different. You can have either one-on-one
conversations or create group chats like you would in any other
messenger, but in order to communicate within Supersonic Fun Voice
Messenger, you'll need to hold down the microphone icon towards the
bottom of the app and speak your message (hint the Voice Messenger part
of the app's name).
These messages are
automatically removed once the recipient of it plays back the audio, but
they are also transcribed so that they can be read without disturbing
others around you. The interesting part here is that messages are
transcribed using a combination of both text and emoji. It's definitely
not the most practical way of talking to one another, but with the
intent of being light-hearted and fun, Google and Area 120 nail this on
the head.
