"Redmi Note 4 is available on pre-orders between 14 - 17 March across large format retailers and from 16 - 21 March across offline stores in Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh," said a Xiaomi India spokesperson.
This will come as a big relief to Xiaomi fans and prospective customers of the Redmi Note 4. So far, the phone was only available in flash sale on e-commerce sites and Xiaomi's own Mi.com. But these sales were akin to virtual stampede where most people would fail to get the device.
Also, the Redmi Note 4 will be available on sale (the actual sale and not pre-orders) across large shops from 18 March 2017 and across offline stores in Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh from 22 March onwards.
Xiaomi has said that the Redmi Note 4 will be available in over 700 large format retail stores of Sangeetha, Poorvika, Lot Mobile and BigC and over 1500 offline mom-n-pop stores across Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh.
The announcement from Xiaomi comes ahead of its planned media event on March 20, where the company is expected to announce the launch of Redmi 4, Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 Prime. All these phones, which will have a price under Rs 10,000, will also be possibly available for pre-order and sale in the offline shops.
